😠 Yoursite drop my account and some asian company has picked up my domain name and my website no longer is operable online. Have to start over with a new webstie. They took supporters money and dissappeared without notice.

Back in 2002 when I setup my domain, your-site had a good reputation. I use my domain for email and for a website I setup as a hobby. The last successful (and helpful) interaction I had with your-site was April 27th, 2020. Then - as other reviewers had mentioned - came the unexpected charges. I was eventually able to find invoices for those charges (which I downloaded - via print as PDF) and I thought I was covered with service until 2025.
Then came February 1st, 2021 when my domain seemed to disappear. When I checked WHOIS, I saw that my domain had expired. Even though I had been charged for the renewal, it was not applied. When I went to look up my invoices, all my transactions had disappeared. It seemed like I was not even a customer. I sent several emails to support@yoursite.com, sales@yoursite.com, info@your-site.com and only received a couple of automatic responses. The phone number listed at your-site.com is no longer in service.

😠 your-site defunct?
After years of good service and helpful customer support, your-site has disappeared from both email and phone support (yet they keep charging me!). I am unable to access my domain name, so who knows what I will do now? They have been overcharging me on my credit card, also, so I guess as soon as I have moved my website, I will contest the payments.

😠 An update on what appears to be going on with Your-site: I just found an on-line obituary for one of the people I believe was an owner or principal of Your-site. Andrew Swett, whose name appeared on an email from them years ago, died 1/2/21 and from the way the obituary reads, may have been ill for awhile. Two others name I've associated with your-site also appear in the obituary: Danatone ("Danny") Swett, who the obituary implies is the owner, and Danatone's wife Danielle. But it lists those two as living in Florida. Even though Your-Site's address is in Funkstown, MD with other addresses for them in nearby Hagerstown, it does not appear any of them have lived anywhere near Hagerstown recently.

😠 DO NOT USE THESE IDIOTS
I have been with this company for several years. Their customer service has always been sh!t but, recently, they are completely incognito. My web pages are completely down for WEEKS and they have not responded to NUMEROUS calls, emails to "support" and "billing", nor messages generated within their your-site page to rectify. I am EXTREMELY pissed. I intend to move my registration elsewhere but first I must get them to "unlock" my domain names but since they don't respond, I don't know how that is going to happen. I have contacted ICANN.org for help. They say one must make a formal request to "unlock" and then wait 5 days. Wish me luck.

While support has never been their strong point, there now seems to be no one actively running the business and I suspect it could go "poof!" at any moment.. But their billing system keeps running. Despite being paid through 11/2021, in August 2020, I was charged (via credit card on file) for the period 11/2021 through 11/2023. Email and phone asking what happened were ignored. Between that and other danger signs, decided to move my hosting. Submitted cancellation request via their only way to do so (online form) which has also been ignored. August bill was disputed with CC issuer who they appear to have also ignored. Both billing question and cancellation request tickets remain open. Then in November, billed again for another two years (11/2023 through 11/2025 per the invoice). Fortunately, I had removed the CC they had on file (not easy to do as it insists on one so I replaced it with a syntacticly valid number that is documented as for testing). According to Maryland Department of Assessments & Taxation, the registered owner of your-site.com or Fluidsoft Inc is Danatone Swett, so I suggest to all who he robbed to keep posting his name anywhere they can and describe him as a crook he is.
His company lost the license to register domains and has been out of business since 2018, yet they have not informed their customers about that, and have continued to charge their credit cards. Just a plain crook.

I was with this company for 13 mostly satisfactory years hosting my humble little website and had been able to contact them on the rare occasions I needed to do so. In 2019, they billed me MONTHS ahead of my ANNUAL renewal for domain and hosting. I inquired about this by email without getting any response from YOUR-SITE. My next expected ANNUAL renewal due in NOVEMBER 2020 arrived on my credit card bill in APRIL 2020. I didn't notice this right away and the charge was then paid to YOUR-SITE for service through NOVEMBER 2021. Yet again, in AUGUST 2020 another annual fee was applied to my account for service through NOVEMBER 2022. I did not authorize EITHER of these charges and have started working with my credit card company to obtain refund(s) and prevent all future billings. I spent almost an hour on hold with YOUR-SITE (also known as FLUIDSOFT) but was never able to reach a person regarding these abusive charges. No voicemails or emails were ever returned to me. 😠 I was with Your-Site for almost 20 years and hosted several websites with them. My first issue happened last year when they charged me for a domain name renewal, but didn't actually renew the domain name. Thankfully, I was able to transfer the name away from them to another provider, but I was still out the money for the renewal. I wasn't able to get anyone on the phone or by email. The only communication I successfully received from them was cancelling the hosting account for my main domain. I was told I wouldn't be charged for it again... until I automatically got charged this month for the hosting AND the domain renewal. Currently disputing this with my bank. Don't use them. They're absentee business owners and have no interest in helping you except to take your money.

In recent years service has deteriorated. In September, there was an outage of 3 days due to a billing mistake on their part. Over 30 frantic emails and phone voice mails were ignored for 3 days and finally service came back up with no explanation. This week, there was another 8 hour outage, and similarly frantic emails and phone calls were ignored. We finally decided to migrate our site and all services to another provider. The migration process required some help from Patrick and Andrew at your-site and that response was the first time we have any response from your-site in months. So, getting rid of a customer with 20+ years of history was enthusiastically embraced by your-site! We suspect that there are few users left and that they might be trying to shut down the company. 😠 I've had no responses to phone messages or emails for months at a time. I felt as though I was being held hostage when I tried to cancel their services. Though I have finally been able to cancel, they are still billing me in July for an October bill! If I could give them a negative rating, I would have!!! Avoid this company like the plague!!

😠 they are horrible. they don't warn you and charge your credit card. their site is down for months. when you call them, their answering machine is full and no longer takes any messages. there is no way to go some place else, as you need an authorization from them to go someplace else. I am very frustrated. they have charged me for 2 years and I don't have hosing nor emails work. Nobody to talk to. Nobody tends their phone line or emails support. DO NOT GO TO THEM IF YOU WANT SERVICE.

😠 I have 5 domains hosted with Your-Site.com. & years ago they were OKish, but in the past year or so they have simply not answered telephone calls or emails and they have not operated the Online Chat. I can log in to ask for help, but the ticket that's generated is unavailable for status updates because the same login information doesn't work on that page. Your-Site is useless, and (as I recently discovered) WAY more expensive than the competition. I would have already transferred my domains to another host service, but (check this out) I cannot even get them to acknowledge that I want the information I need to transfer the domains. They simply will not respond. If you want a website host, avoid Your-Site because their nonexistent customer service and erratic uptime makes them simply too much trouble. You can do better, and that easily.

I've been with 5-6 years but they've gone downhill very quickly in the past year. I've pulled 7 websites from them in the past year because of long downtimes (days). This is the last one.
Alother gripe is there seems to be different accounts for different areas - ie email control panel has different password from domain control panel which has different passwords from billing and support.
