), an operator of integrated Tier-1 Network Access Points (NAPs) and network services, said today that it has launched Tech Fridays, an ongoing series of forums aimed at educating the technology industry and Terremark customers and employees about industry trends and the company's new products and services.

The company said its first forum was held last Friday, with keynote speaker Frank Brick, CEO of Arsenal Digital Solutions, discussing the need for storage management services.
Terremark said future Tech Fridays Forums will feature Terremark's own technology experts as well as speakers from leading vendors who will discuss topics such as optical switching and peering platforms, voice over IP, routing services and other industry-related topics.
The company said the diverse mix of vendors, resellers and end-users that operate out of the carrier-netural NAP of the Americas helps position Terremark as a marketplace for discussion of cutting-edge technology issues.
