📅 - RouteScience (routescience.com), a provider or network optimization solutions, announced on Monday that InteleNet Communications, Inc. (intelenet.net), a California-based managed hosting and colocation provider, has selected RouteScience PathControl to optimize Internet traffic for its customers. According to RouteScience, its PathControl solution monitors, assesses and maintains applications availability over network infrastructures.

"Applications availability and performance are critical issues for our customers like GameSpy Industries, one of the largest Internet gaming sites as well as our other corporate customers in manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, financial services, and other markets," said Mark Towfiq, president and CEO of InteleNet. "We have seen firsthand the benefits of using RouteScience to manage the complex task of routing multiple Gbps of traffic to several diverse national backbone providers and network peers. With RouteScience, we have been able to provide the best network performance and availability to our customers while reducing our overall cost for bandwidth."
RouteScience said deploying PathControl allows organizations to minimize their bandwidth costs while improving applications availability and performance.

📅 - InteleNet Expands Data Center - Managed hosting and colocation provider InteleNet Communications (intelenet.net) announced on Tuesday it has started construction on the expansion of its Irvine, California data center. The expansion, which features 12,000 square feet of new space, will have sufficient infrastructure to meet the needs of its high density computing customers.     With its recent acquisition by Managed Data Holdings, InteleNet is expediting the completion of this new space, which was initially planned to be completed over the course of 2008.
