📅 April 12, 2005 - Web hosting provider Active 24 (active24.com) announced on Tuesday that it has signed a hosting agreement with Norwegian media and information provider Findexa, the creator of the "Gule Sider" and the online search service "gulesider.no."

Internet usage in Norway is increasing, says Active 24, and at the end of February 2005, "gulesider.no" was the largest single online search service in Norway. Active 24 will assist Findexa by producing and hosting new product offerings to Findexa's customers.

"Customers at ?gulesider.no? want to leverage the opportunities of the Internet, and this is why we intensify the task of developing and hosting Web sites for our customers," says Torild Lid Uribarri, director of communications at Findexa. "Findexa is very satisfied with this new agreement, and we look forward to a prosperous collaboration."

Active 24 says it provides Findexa with services that will enable the company to focus on expanding its already strong position as the leading directory publisher in Norway, as well as further the developing and delivering of its information products.

Within the new framework, Active 24's partners will be able to virtually host Microsoft (microsoft.com) products such as Exchange and SharePoint.
