😠 I recently transitioned to Aabaco Small Business, LLC after they took over Yahoo Small Business, and my experience has been nothing short of disappointing. The services provided by Aabaco are, to put it bluntly, the pits. From constant errors to unhelpful customer support, it has been a headache every step of the way.
One of the major issues I've encountered is the persistent errors in their services. Whether it's website hosting or domain name forwarding, there seems to be a constant stream of problems. What's even more frustrating is that reaching out to their customer support in India doesn't seem to resolve anything. Instead, each interaction turns into a blame game, with service issues being passed around like a hot potato.

😠 THE WORST!
Communication is not possible with people in India who neither speak nor understand English! This aside, customer service and technical knowledge are non-existent. Hours spent trying to resolve problems; Issues not resolved because links provided are not valid. I could go on, but reliving the nightmare of dealing with Aabaco is not good for my already frayed nerves. I am moving my Domain tomorrow. (Afraid of facing the billing problems which so many customers have complained about).

Here's what happened. Aabaco Small Business (owned by Yahoo!) and I had a dispute over whether I had given them sufficient notice of closing my account. The trouble was that after I moved my business elsewhere they continued to bill me the exact same amount, which I didn't notice on my credit card statements.
I eventually reviewed the file and became aware of the problem because their accounting system generated an email to me when my credit card number changed and their next charge was rejected.
Up to that point I didn't notice their withdrawals because they stopped sending me their customary notices of upcoming charges.
They refused to communicate about the issue by email, which sucks. Dealing with them by phone was frustrating. Each call started with approximately a quarter hour of waiting on hold while they 'verified' my identity. They insisted they could record the conversation but that I was not allowed to tape record it.

😠 Not only is it impossible to get ANY service from them if you're not on social media (ie Twitter or Facebook), now they are screwing me out of the email addresses I have been using for over 5 years with less than 6 weeks to deal with finding a new host, purchasing a new domain and getting everything setup. THEN, migrating every single account I have to a new email. Thanks Aabaco for being complete idiots!

😠 I just have a domain name, so Aabaco was too expensive to keep. The service period ended July 16, and I transferred my domain name away on July 9. Then I get my CC statement saying they charged the $35 on July 3, two weeks before the end of the service period! I called and asked for a refund, and they said sorry, but we're keeping the money.

😠 These guys are an absolute JOKE! Don't waste your time or money. I had four stores with Yahoo small business. AABACO takes over and nothing but problems. Going to put in a claim for a refund and moving everything to a different platform. If there was a rating lower than 1, I would have used it. Extremely disappointed!!!!!!

😠 Horrible customer service. Tried to close down domain but kept getting busy signal. Closed it on 32nd day past an automatic charge to my business charge and cannot be reimbursed the charges. Talked to Aabaco twice and rated their service for them. The answer is that another party charges my account and they would not provide me with access to the company that actually charges me. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH A COMPANY LIKE THIS THAT CANNOT PROVIDE YOU THE INFORMATION OF THE ACTUAL COMPANY THAT CHARGES YOU FOR THE SERVICE!!!!!!!

😠 I integrated my Yahoo Small Bus. Account 2 Jan 8, 2016. But when I went back a week later to make changes, it would not accept my pw. I have done the reset pw process about 50 times since, but I never get the reset link in an email. NO EMAIL FROM THEM AT ALL--EXCEPT A Customer Service SURVEY!?

😠 My domain was transferred to Aabaco a few months ago. To date it still is nonoperational. Aabaco, however, is still drawing its monthly fees from my company's account. I have spent almost 15 hours on the phone with the fine Indian customer service reps. Some of them have outright lied to me. They admit the problem is on their end. I never had any problem with my domain until the transfer to Aabaco. I am completely frustrated with them. I have had to purchase another domain from Go Daddy just to keep my site up. Worst customer and technical support ever!

😠 I've been extremely happy for the last ~15 years with Yahoo and then they dump my account to this horrible company. They wouldn't show my billing information on the site and redirected me to Yahoo Small Biz, which redirected me to Aabaco. It was a never ending circle. I didn't want to stay with Yahoo because I found a cheaper solution for what I was using their services. Aabaco provided NO advanced notice that they were about to charge my credit card. It wasn't until I received a fraud alert that I found out about it. They made me jump through ridiculous verification hoops in order to cancel the account, including 8 digits of the credit card they charged, that I don't use regularly and don't have access to. The claimed that it was their policy to verify the credit card and claimed that there was no way to verify the account without it, but less than 2 weeks ago, the pulled up my account and verified me without it. Yahoo dumps the domain accounts section and informs customers that they've given the accounts to Aabaco.
Great! We've been with Yahoo since 1998-1999; mostly happy with only a few small glitches.
Tried to transfer the key administration ID over to Aabaco. Page one of their transfer process we hit a snag. Aabaco demands a mobile phone number for security verification.
Oops; we don't have a cell phone. Our land line doesn't do texts. No allowance to proceed using only a land phone line.
Call Aabaco, somewhere deep in the India continent. The wait isn't too bad this time; after the normal problems of conversing through their versions of English language and a significant amount of tedious time reaching the problem.
I state the problem, "no cell phone!"; I get their answer, use a friend's or relative's cell phone number. For security!? I should use someone else's phone? Want me to give them my credit cards too?? Plus all of my web security passwords?

Well, considering they are racking up tons of REALLY poor reviews, I guess they should know pretty well how to deal with them.
This service is TERRIBLE. Pretty much nothing works, and the customer service is poor-to-non-existent.
Even when they try to 'fix' a problem, and send a link for downloading, the links they send don't work.
Pull your heads out, Aabaco and start getting it right. You've already lost this person's faith and I'll be shopping other hosting companies.

😠 I am a small business owner who was recently negatively affected by the transition from Yahoo Small Business to Aabaco. I use my site to obtain new students and have them register for classes through my website. I just found out that the form functionality of my registrations has not been working for the 2 weeks and the issue still hasn't been resolved. It wasn't Aabaco that contacted me, it was a student who wasn't able to sign-up for classes. After a LOT of searching the Internet I found finally found a phone number to call for help. I am now in a 20 minute call queue hoping that something can be done. A news article I also found about the Yahoo to Aabaco transition indicated that only 1% of businesses were affected. Not sure if that is correct or not, but as a small business who has probably lost 1,000s of dollars of revenue as a result, I am extremely disappointed about the lack of communication and lack of urgency in resolving the issue.
